Mammoth

The first group of pictures above are from an old mining town. The town was called "bodie". I actually visited the town twice, the first time i went, we arrived late and weren't allowed to go into the town because it was closed. It was actually kind of nice. All the tourists had left and it looked like a genuine ghost town. The sun was setting, so we took a few pictures as close as we could get and left. The second time I went, we could go inside. All the houses were filled with dust and dirt, although everything was still intact for the most part. We arrived at the town pretty late the second time so we only had about 40 minutes to explore. It was cool, lots of old broken down cars and some houses had collapsed, but the coolest thing in my opinion was this one small shack that stood out more from all the other houses and buildings (image 3).

The other pictures are just from me and my family adventuring around mammoth, stopping off at a few scenic views along the way.
